Tuesday, 2-August-2022 - Boekel - It's my brother Virgil's birthday today. He would have turned 70. We had a lot of good times together growing up. Back to skating. Jan pulled up in his Citroën 2CV6 "Ugly Duck" (photo). This warm summer evening we headed for the smooth bicycle path along the Doctor de Quayweg between de Mortel and de Rips. Even though the group was taking it easy, I couldn't keep up. No worries. They waited for me to catch up. What a great bunch of skaters! We took a break in Elsendorp at the Keizersbergh Hotel.
