Death of a Salesman

Wednesday, 20-Jul-2011 - Amelith - I helped bury my brother Virgil today. I mourn his passing, but find peace knowing that he is now with the Lord. I gained strength from all the love and positive energy around me while I was in Amelith. Virgil passed away on Friday, 15-July in a tragic accident. Although Virgil was in a confused state of mind these last weeks and months, and at other times in his adult life, I have fond memories of him as a brother and a friend. I will continue to miss him.

Go Skate Kampina

Sunday, 10-July-2011 - Boxtel - Go Skate Kampina, that's the name of the route we took today. Helene treated us to pie at the coffee break. Her birthday is tomorrow. Seventeen Fun-on-Wheels skaters--good for 26 km. Did some skate maintenance when I got back home. pics (123) gps-tracked route

Boekel Evening Skating

Tuesday, 5-July-2011 - Boekel - Tonnie came to see us off. He was still recovering from a broken shoulder. We skated 27 km before we took a break. It was a smooth route--super skating. 17 skaters--good for 37 km.
